Battery Rescue win City of Albany contract for used battery collection

Battery Rescue win City of Albany Battery Collection Contract

Battery Rescue have won the City of Albany contract for collection of their Used Lead Acid Batteries, using their unique UNISEG Pallet and regulation complaint battery collection service.

Murray Swarbrick the Coordinator for Waste Management cited the convenience and safety for staff loading batteries into the pallet rather than having to stack onto wood pallets and the “peace of mind” knowing that the batteries were being collected and transported in a regulation compliant manner.

Due the Albany town site being approximately 5 hours from Perth, Battery Rescue will keep collections to a minimum by providing the City of Albany with sufficient UNISEG Pallets to accommodate 3 month’s worth of batteries. The UNISEG Pallets will be installed at the beginning of May 2016.
