Battery Rescue commenced this month rolling out its battery collection service to Fortescue’s Cloudbreak and Christams Creek Mine Sites. Pictured are 20 Battery Transport & Storage (BTS) containers as part of our used lead acid battery collection service and 4 Used Lithium Battery (ULiB) Boxes for the safe and regulation compliant storage and transport of waste lithium and other non lead acid batteries.
With the addition of Fortescue to our list of clients, Battery Rescue now supplied its waste battery collection service to Australia’s 3 largest mining companies in Rio Tinto, BHP & Fortescue. Both used lead acid batteries and lithium batteries are classified as dangerous goods with specific packaging, marking & labelling requirements detailed in the Australian Code for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (by road & rail).
